Held In Western Regional Jail Pending Bond
Three men took a trip to jail, Wednesday, after their arrests on felony drug charges, in Putnam County, according to Sheriff Steve Deweese.
"On June 5th, 2013, at approximately 1530 hrs the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department and members of the Metro Drug Unit, (MDENT) made Felony Arrests in Putnam County on six Meth related charges," this news release states.
One suspect had a capias for Grand Larceny from Kanawha County.
All three suspects were arrested without incident along Hurricane Creek Road and Coon Creek, Deweese reports.
"The following suspects are charged with: James McConihay, Charleston, charged with Conspiracy to Commit Felony x 1 and Possession of Pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture Meth and a Capias- Kanawha County, bond set for $50,000.00.; Joshua E. Robertson, Charleston, Operate or Attempt to Operate a Clandestine Drug Lab, Possession of Pseudoephedrine in an Altered State, bond set for $200,000.00.; Elijah D Terry, Operate or attempt to operate a Clandestine Drug Lab, Possession of Pseudoephedrine in an Altered State, Hurricane, bond set for $100,000.00," Deweese adds.
After their arrests, McConihay, Robertson, and Terry were transported to the Western Regional Jail and Correctional Facility, in Barboursville. Officials booked and photographed them at 7:30 p.m., according to the jail's web site.
McConihay's Putnam Magistrate Court case numbers are 13F, 339-340. His Kanawha County case number is: 13F, 123. Robertson's Putnam County Magistrate Case numbers are: 13F, 335-336; Terry's are: 13F, 337-338.
