Accused Of Violating Terms Of His Probation
A Putnam County man is back in the Western Regional Jail and Correctional Facility, in Barboursville.
Joshua Dwight Newhouse, 34, of Hurricane, was admitted Wednesday, July 12th, 2012. Officials booked and photographed him at 5;20 p.m., according to the jail's web site.
According to a Revocation of Probation Petition, Newhouse is accused of Failing to Report to his probation officer and Failing to Pay Fees. Additionally, court records state Newhouse Failed to Appear at his revocation hearing on June 29th, 2012.
Newhouse as indicted November 16th, 2011, by the Putnam County Grand Jury for felony charges of:
However, Newhouse pleaded guilty, before Putnam County Acting Circuit Judge James O. Holliday, to a misdemeanor charge of Petit Larceny, January 18th, 2012, court records state. Holliday then placed Newhouse on probation.
