Teays Valley Church of God in Scott Depot
welcomes Pastor
Wendy Watts of
Morgantown, as its new
full-time Children’s
Pastor the second
week in July.
Watts holds a
Bachelors of Church
Ministry from Warner Southern College and a Masters of Divinity from
the Anderson School of Theology. She has served as a children’s
ministry intern in Alabama, Florida, and Indiana.
Pastor Watts is an animal lover and scrapbooker, an avid movie goer
and video gamer, and she loves the outdoors.
“I am so excited about ministering at Teays Valley Church of God
because of the potential to build up and support families and
children all across the Valley,” says Watts. “I am eager to begin
building relationships with the children in the area, and I pray
that I can be a trusted friend to the children and families of Teays
Valley.”
“Wendy’s education, experience and passion for children will allow
her to bring a cohesiveness and comprehensive approach to our
children’s ministry,” says Dr. Melissa Pratt, the church’s
pastor. “In addition, Wendy will oversee an After School Program at
the church which will serve the Teays Valley area.”
For more information on the After School program or to welcome
Pastor Watts to the Valley, please telephone 304-757-9222 or stop by
the church at 4430 Teays Valley Road, in Scott Depot.
