RED HOT PERFORMS 2010 DINNER THEATER
Former State Champs Hope To Regain Title

It was 15 degrees outside Friday night, with plenty of snow on the
ground. But inside the
Hurricane High School
commons, it was
"Raining Men."

HHS's Red Hot Show
Choir sang, danced,
and served the night
away as part
of their 2010 Dinner
Theater fundraiser.

Under the direction of Ilse Renee Moss-Long with an assist from emcee Rod Blackstone, the singers performed wonderful solos, duets, sang in trios and groups onstage and served dinner to hundreds of guests off stage.

"We greatly appreciate all of the support from our parents and the people who braved such bitter cold to come out tonight," says Moss-Long. "The weather is terrible. But it's fantastic that so many people made our performance a bigger priority than staying warm at home. Thank you very much for all of your support."

Moss-Long says their were some empty tables, Friday night, but considering the extreme cold, that was to be expected.

Once inside, attendees were treated to the many talents of Red Hot's singers and musicians. And those with lucky tickets took home door prizes provided by the generosity of local businesses.

Those that missed Friday night's performance were able to see
a Saturday performance at 6:30 p.m. as well as Saturday and Sunday matinees at 1:00 p.m.

If you missed the weekend dinner shows, you can always catch one of Red Hot's performance competitions this year. To find out where and when they are performing, please click on PutnamLIVE.com's Calendar of Events page or go to the show choir's web site below this article.
