Democratic candidates for county and state  and congressional                                    offices were out in                                    force Saturday night in                          Eleanor, introducing                             themselves to voters                                  and making campaign                                speeches.

The candidates started                                  the evening serving                              spaghetti. Putnam Circuit Judge O.C. "Hobby" Spaulding was a fashion hit with his chef's hat as he finished the serving line.

The spaghetti was donated by Gino's, owned by former District 4 Senator Oshel B. Craigo who also emceed the event. Deserts were made by various candidates. Some were auctioned off as a fundraiser.

The event was held in the community room above the Eleanor Volunteer Fire Department Station.
