POCA MUSICFEST 2008 RESULTS
Teays Valley Captures Grand Championship

Teays Valley (Ohio) High School prevailed against some stiff                                    opposition to                                          capture the Grand                        Championship at the                                 10th anniversary of                                   Poca’s MusicFest                                         show choir                                        competition. Twenty                                 show choirs from                                     West Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland gathered at the Charleston Civic Center on February 2nd to vie for awards in various divisions of competition that lasted more than 14 hours.

High School Division

  •  Grand Champion   Teays Valley, Ohio 
     

  •  1nd Runner Up      Hurricane Red Hot

  •  2nd Runner Up      Garfield Heights, Ohio

 
Winfield General Admission placed 7th out of a field of 15 schools.

Poca’s Visual Volume performed but, as hosts, did not compete.

Poca High School, host of MusicFest, would like to thank all the schools, parents and supporters who made this event a success.
