LIONS' CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY
Frazier Fir Trees For Sale At Huntington Bank
News release

Christmas came a few weeks early for the Scott/Teays Lions Club.

Friday morning,                                 November 14th, the                                  club received 200                               beautiful frazier fir                                     trees from a farm in                                 Randolph County.

The trees were fresh cut and heavy with water. They ranged in size from six to nine feet in height. Lion Boyd Harper, chairman of the project, says that he recommends that people wanting a fresh cut tree buy them early and take them home and put in water until time to decorate.

Lion Jerry Dials says that he wants to thank Huntington Bank for allowing the club to use their parking lot for showing and selling trees.

The lot is at the corner of Great Teays Boulevard and Route 34. You can purchase trees during limited hours (two hours each evening) through Thanksgiving. After that it will be open from noon until 8:00 p.m.

This project is a major fund raiser for the Lions club and allows them to continue to serve the Scott Depot/Teays Valley community by providing eye screenings, eye exams, eyeglasses and eye surgeries in addition to their many youth services.

These trees may cost a little more but they are fresh and you can be assured that every dollar earned goes back into the community.
