Democratic Candidate Yet To Be Decided
Who says the
democratic primary is over? Well, one campaign claims that it is,
even though the candidates are separated by the slimmest of
delegates. And the mainstream media says it is (I can't locate the
certificate that named them "head of the Lollipop Guild"...I'll look
again after the very important West Virginia primary).
In the midst of all this madness, people's constitutional rights are
being manipulated: The right to vote; and the right to have that
vote count. Anything or anyone that attempts to prevent that vote is
engaging in voter suppression. And no matter what side you are on,
that should make you extremely angry.
It has been exciting and infuriating for supporters on both sides of
this contest, but the fact still remains: The Democratic
Presidential Candidate Has Not Yet Been Decided.
Lollipop Guild, indeed.

Hillary Clinton Is The Best Person For The Job
Hillary Clinton is the most likely candidate to get the United States out of Iraq, but she will do it in a manner that won't endanger our soldiers or weaken our country. She's a member of the Armed Services Committee who understands the impact of the war on our troops and their families and how best to help them.
My son-in-law is a Marine who was a Republican until recently. Now he supports Hillary. She was instrumental in passing legislation to increase the military survivor benefit from $12,000 to $100,000. She is committed to providing adequate health care to every veteran and his or her family. Hillary plans to enact a GI Bill of Rights that will "resurrect the spirit of the original 1944 GI Bill." In short, she is the best person for the job.

Wal-Mart Only Cares For Money
I too live behind a Wal-Mart. I have lived here and endured the noise ,lights and garbage blowing in my yard for 17 years.
They are now
building a Super Wal-Mart next to the old one. No business will be
lost. The old one will be closed and torn down when the new one
opens.
There was a burm built and trees were put on the burm and a fence at
the top to stop some of the noise when the first store was built. I
have had a cement fish pond and ring of flowers there for all these
years.
They now tell me the burm and all the mature trees will be torn down and the fence will be placed 25 feet closer to me on level ground. Not only does this mean my pond will have to go but ,now when I stand on my deck I will be looking over the fence at Wal-Mart.
They also took over a small wooded area and destroyed that for a new parking lot. They have no consideration for family and people in general. I am heart broken. Wal-Mart only cares for money. How do you fight such a huge company?

She Hates The Hurricane Wal-Mart
I hate the new Wal-Mart.
It is tacky, has concrete floors, and has 20+ checkouts and only 3
are ever open. I would like to send a warning out to everyone to
avoid the Hurricane Wal-Mart the first week of the month. The
welfare cases will be hitting it hard when their food stamp cards
are all charged up. Cases of Hamburger Helper and Mountain Dew will
be leaving that place by the truckload. God forbid these people
actually pick up an application.

It Is Time To Bring Back The Death Penalty
It
is sad that it took so long to send Merrifield to prison. It is sad
we do not have the death penalty in WV. I believe God shakes his
head in anger at what our society allows to happen to a little
child. The good news is that Logan is now with God and will never be
hurt again. Merrifield is now on his way to prison, where hopefully,
he will be abused and raped every single day for the rest of his
worthless life.
It is funny how prisoners will abide murder, robbery, and theft, but
if someone has hurt a child they will make their life a living Hell.
I personally hope some other prisoner will save the taxpayers of WV
the expense of keeping this dirt-bag fed and housed for the rest of
his life. I know there will be some who say "How can you say such
things?" I am saying what every other decent individual is thinking.
It is time we as a society stand up and say NO MORE.
It is time to bring back the death
penalty. We need to add quick and speedy execution to that bill. Say
what you like about the death penalty. The reality of it is that no
prisoner that has been executed has ever repeated a crime after they
were executed.

Dogs Should Not Be Chained For Hours
Every day, dogs are chained or penned and will live, eat, urinate and defecate in a five- to 10-ft. radius of where they have to sleep until they die, either of starvation, freezing to death or dying of heat stroke. This is a miserable existence. It is beyond my comprehension why anyone would buy a dog and chain it to a dog house or tree 50 yards away from the house. Dogs need socialization or they become mentally unstable. Frustration builds as they see their "pack" coming and going, but no one ever comes down to see the animal.
Frustration turns to aggression, and finally, insanity. Yes, dogs can go insane. I have personally witnessed it in a rescue that I helped. This poor dog had been chained outside for 10 years before someone finally talked the people into giving her away. Her neurosis was so severe that she would not go back outside at her new home because she remembered being alone out there for so many long years. Her new owners worked with her, but she (the dog) finally had a stroke from the stress. It is the same as insanity in humans.
I hope this might reach the hearts of people who chain their dogs outside, or keep them in pens. www.dogsdeservebetter.org will give you all the information you need to find out how to help these poor animals that did not ask to be tied out in all sorts of weather with no human contact.
