LADY DOTS WIN BARN-BURNER
Buffalo Girls Can't Defend Home Court

Poca's Lady Dots made the short trek down Rt. 62 to North Putnam (Buffalo) Wednesday night January 9th, 2008.

It was Poca's game from the beginning as The Lady Dots jumped out to a big 19 - 8 first quarter lead. However, The Lady Bisons out-scored Poca 14 - 8 to draw closer at halftime 26 - 22 Poca.

The Lady Dots won the game in the 3rd quarter and out scored Buffalo 17 - 10 for a barn burner of a win 47 - 45.

Buffalo was led by senior all-state candidate Cassie Conley who had a team high 12 points and crashed the boards hard. Junior Janae Hicks had 11 points and hit two three pointers. Junior Brittany Herdman had 9 points and hit a three pointer. Junior all state candidate Amanda Young had 8 points and crashed the boards hard. Senior Danielle Herdman had 5 points. Hannah Lloyd played well.

The Lady Dots was led by sophomore all state candidate Britney Sayre who had 18 points and was a force on the court. Junior all state candidate Adrianna Browning had 17 points and hit three 3 pointers  and passed very well. Freshman Kendra Richardson had 7 points and crashed the boards hard. Sophomore Erika Maloney had 4 points and played well.

Sophomore Lexie Lanham had 3 points and played well.Junior Jamie Cool hit a three pointer her only points and played well. Also playing well on the year Junior Kellie Brown, sophomore Fallon Cunningham, sophomore Michelle Casto, who played well, Senior Alexis Ward played hard, sophomore Brandi Davis, sophomore Courtney Davis, Freshmen Megan Patton, Kaitlyn Jenkins, Jesica Westfall,

 

Head Coach Brady Lanham is doing a great job with the girls with help from - Erin Dydland.
