One of Putnam County's Asian restaurants failed to make the grade during a recent kitchen inspection, records say. Asian Wok, in Winfield, was cited for 17 health code violations during a routine inspection May 14th by Sanitarian Barbara Koblinsky, RS.
Eight of the violations were "Critical," according to the inspection report posted above this story.
The 8 "Critical" violations
are:
Most of the violations were immediately corrected, except for numbers 2 and 5, according to the inspection report.
Koblinski put Asian Wok on notice with a 10-day re-inspection. When PutnamLIVE.com inquired about the result of that re-inspection on June 4th, we were advised that it had not yet taken place.
PutnamLIVE.com called Asian Wok for comment about the inspection report. The woman who answered the telephone hung up when asked for comment.
Publisher's note:
All inspections are provided by the Putnam County Health Department
which chooses which facilities to inspect. Any questions about the
inspections should be directed to Administrator Jacqueline Fleshman
at 304-757-2541.
