A popular Nitro fast food restaurant found itself on the wrong side of                                     some health codes                                        earlier this month.

PutnamLIVE.com has                                      learned that Wendy's                                 was cited for seven                                   health code violations,                            including four critical.

The routine inspection took place September 11th by a Putnam County Board of Health Sanitarian, according to the inspection report posted above this story.

It is important to note that each of the violations have been taken care of as of this publication and that even the critical violations were not considered dangerous to the health of customers.

The critical violations were:

  1. Plastic food container not smooth and cleanable (damaged). Note: Go through all the containers and dispose of if damaged.

  2. Mayo not held at 41 degrees (F) or below at front line. (Corrected) Disposed of.

  3. Seal in bad repair/not clean.

  4. Lettuce stored in unsafe container (trash bag) in water in walk-in not allowed. Not food-grade container. Corrected/Disposed of lettuce.
