HUMPHREY SIGNS WITH POTOMAC STATE
Dots' Diamond Star To Play College Ball

Poca High School's Ian Humphrey will be taking his game to the next                                   level.

Humphrey signed a                                       letter of intent to play                              college baseball for                                Coach Little at                                        Potomac State                                  University.

Ian has played varsity                              baseball for Poca High                               School since he was a                             freshman.

Humphrey has been                                   the starting catcher for Poca and pitches as well. 

Last season he had a .372 batting average with 3 homeruns, a 6-3 pitching record with 65 strikeouts and a 2.29 ERA. 

He was named Special Honorable Mention – All State, First Team All Cardinal Conference and Putnam County Athlete of the week in 2007. 

Ian has a 3.25 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  His proud parents are Bob and Mary Humphrey of Poca.
