DAVID L. HILL RUNNING FOR JUDGE
Local Attorney Files For Putnam Circuit
News
release
Hurricane attorney David L. Hill filed papers seeking to be elected
as Putnam County
Circuit Court Judge in
the upcoming election.
Hill attended Hurricane schools until 1957. He graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in 1969, and a Master’s Degree in 1971. Hill then graduated from Wake Forest Law School, Winston- Salem, North Carolina in 1974.
In 1978, David returned to West Virginia and set up his private practice of law. He has continued in that practice since that time. Hill is engaged in criminal, real estate, civil, administrative and domestic litigation, and has completed approximately 145 jury trials throughout his years of practice as well as numerous other trials, motions and litigation.
Hill is a member of both the West Virginia State Bar and the North Carolina State Bar, a member of the United States District Court bar and has been duly admitted and qualified as an Attorney and Counselor of the Supreme Court of the United States.
Hill is married to the former Pamela Haddad. They have five adult children, and have resided in Hurricane for several years. Both of his parents were school teachers. He has a strong sense of the value of getting a good education and seeing to it that others develop their full academic potential.
"I believe my 34 years of judicial experience well qualifies me to
serve the people of Putnam County as a fair, honest and hard working
Circuit Judge," says Hill. "I promise to be fair and impartial to
all those who appear before me and to rule competently and promptly
in all matters presented me for judicial consideration."
*Paid for by Committee to Elect David L. Hill
