Hurricane Middle School is excited to announce
the tryout schedules
for the upcoming
winter sports.
Students interested in
trying out for an
athletic team must
have a completed
physical form, proof of
insurance, and a copy
of their birth
certificate. Students who have participated in a fall sport this
school year do not need to re-submit these documents. Physical forms
are available in the office of Mr. Cross, assistant principal/AD.
Tryouts for the HMS Lady Redskins basketball team will be held on November 4th-5th, 2008 from 3:30-6:00 p.m. in the HMS gymnasium. Questions should be directed to Whitney Allen, head coach, at 304-415-0837.
Tryouts for the HMS boys’ basketball team will be held on November 10th, 2008 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. and on November 11th-12th, 2008 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Questions should be directed to Joe Henson, head coach, at 304-421-4347 or 727-8327.
Tryouts for the HMS wrestling team will be held on November 10th, 2008 in the HMS field house/wrestling room from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Questions should be directed to Lee Cummings, head coach, at 304-542-3662.
