Whether you eat Campbell's Soup, Cheerios or Corn Chex, or Tyson Chicken use Kleenex Tissues, Scott Paper Towels, or Ziplock products, or drink Nestle Pure Life bottled water, you can help the students at Conner Street Elementary School.
The P.T.O. is collecting labels from all of those products-and more, to get free stuff for the school's students.
All you have to do is look for the Box Tops For Education logo (like the one above this story) or peel off the Nestle Pure Life water logo, or the Campbell's Soup or Tyson Chicken label, then bring it to Conner Street Schhol.
Principal Patty Fragale and the P.T.O. have set up a special cabinet of drawers to save the labels. You can drop them off anytime during school hours, she says.
"These are wonderful programs that we are using for extras," says Fragale. "The P.T.O. has been great about organizing all of the labels."
Some of the labels are used for sports equipment, Fragale says. The Boxtops For Education labels are used for buying coats for underprivileged students.
You can find the products at A to Z Supermarket in Hurricane, Culloden Independent Supermarket, Kroger, in Scott Depot, and Wal-Mart in Hurricane and Nitro.
At www.BoxtopsForEducation.com you can print off money-saving coupons to save on products that are part of the program.
