BODYFIT

A Christian Fitness Fellowship, Bodyfit, meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Arts In Action, in Hurricane.

People of all levels of fitness are encouraged to attend. Child Care is available on site at Little Life Day Care and Preschool, which is directly below the Arts in Action studios.

FARMER'S MARKET

Fresh Produce Available at Putnam Farmers' Markets. Locally produced vegetables, USDA inspected meats, baked goods, preserves and crafts are available from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesdays at the Eleanor Park shelter #6 (Route 62 in Eleanor) and on Thursdays at the Hurricane Wave Park (#1 Valley Park Drive in Hurricane).

Officials report that produce is almost always picked the same day of the markets. 

Each market is scheduled to operate until October 31st.

HURRICANE CIVIC CHORUS

Rehearsals are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Forrest Burdette Memorial United Methodist Church in Hurricane.

Dr. Larry Stickler is the chorus director with Tom Minshall at the piano and organ.

Dues are $25 each semester. Auditions are not required. Non-Hurricane residents may join.
