The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection’s REAP Program is encouraging Putnam County residents to bring their live Christmas trees to the Capitol Market.

Residents who bring their trees to the market will receive a gift from the REAP program and can sign up for a chance to win one of three prizes, which include a mini-ski-getaway from Canaan Valley Resort, a day of skiing from Timberline Resort or a $30 gift certificate from Capitol Market.

The event is sponsored by the REAP program, WV Division of Natural Resources, Canaan Valley Resort, Capitol Market and Timberline Resort.

RED HOT SHOW CHOIR

 DINNER THEATER

Hurricane High School

Delicious dinner will include roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and the Hurricane High School cooks' mouth-watering rolls.

Red Hot members will sing to you while you dine, then everyone goes to the gymnasium, where the 60-member-strong choir will unleash their talent.

This years' choir is proud to present their new director, Ilse Moss, who is a Hurricane High School graduate and former member of the choir. Moss returned to Hurricane to run the show after studying at University of Charleston and finishing her master's degree at Boston University.

A new choreographer has joined Red Hot. Mitchell Finke has worked on Broadway. Finke fits the Hurricne High School show choir nicely into his litany of show choirs that he choreographs across the United States.

Please call the reservation line for tickets today. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling 304-562-4799. For gift certificates, please call 304-757-9124.
