new Pastor, Nathan Cobb, will be preaching, and there will
be special singing by the Hill Brothers. To prepare for this special service, the
church is seeking donations to replace the floor that is in
great need of repair. Plywood and new carpet will be needed,
and any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.

Dodrill Heating and Cooling This event is to raise awareness and research funds for the non-curable cancer, Mesothelioma, the asbestos causing cancer that took Richard Owen Dorsey - ROD's life at 65 on July 9th, 2008 less than a month after his diagnosis on June, Friday the 13th, 2008. We will be honoring other families who have been faced with this disease and / or lost loved ones to this as well.

SPAGHETTI DINNER FUNDRAISER The family of Jeremy Scott Cook will be hosting a fundraiser to help with the purchase of a headstone for his grave. Cook was a 22-year old that was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia in December 2009 and was undergoing chemotherapy. He was told by his oncologist that he was in remission and had two more chemotherapy sessions to face when he was brutally beaten in Huntington on May 14th, 2010. Cook died two days later at Cabell Huntington Hospital from those injuries.
Jeremy had been a
member of the National Guard and his father is a Desert
Storm veteran.
