Buffalo hosted Huntington St. Joe on Friday, February 1st, 2008.                                      The Irish expected to                              sweep the Bison on                                    the season but the                                  Bison wanted no part                                    of that and took a                                        15-6 first quarter                                      lead for a strong                                          34-19 halftime                                       advantage.

In the third quarter there was more of the same as Buffalo controlled the quarter 18-6 and took a 52-25 third quarter lead.  The Bison went on to a 66-41 sweet revenge victory.

Senior All-Stater Adam Scott lead the attack with 23 points and came out on fire in the first half scoring 14 points, (1-3 pointer), 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 4 assists.

Sophomore All-State candidate Austin Lewis recorded 13 points (2-3 pointers), 2 steals, 1 blocked shot and had a game high 5 assists.

Junior All-State candidate Garrett Burdette had 11 points, a game high 15 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 assists.

Junior All-State candidate Nathan Winterstein scored nine points (all in the 1st half), pulled down six rebounds, had one steal, and two assists.

Junior forward Schuyler Frazier had 6 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 assist.

 

Senior Jason Warner had 3 rebounds and 2 assists.

 

Freshman Cameron Jones had 1 rebound, 1 steal and 1 assist.

 

Sophomore Jared Tucker scored 2 points, 1 rebounds and 1 assist.

 

Sophomore Greg Rose scored two points

Junior Drew Angle had one rebound and one assist.

Sophomore Cody Parkins and Junior Josh Absten recorded one rebound each.
