











Six Buffalo High School students will represent the state at the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda 2007 National Leadership Conference in Chicago, Illinois, June 27-July 2. Caleb Cart, Sarah Casto, Jo Goodwin, Bradley Gritt, Franki Rummell, and Holly Wills earned this opportunity by competing at the State FBLA Leadership Conference in March 2007.
At the state competition, Caleb received second place in Electronic Career Portfolio; Sarah received second place in Word Processing I; Franki Rummell received second place in Intro to Business Communications; and Jo Goodwin, Brad Gritt, and Holly Willis received top honors in the Business Plan category.
This annual FBLA-PBL competition for students pursuing business and business-related careers includes individual, local chapter, and state teams, who compete in over 40 events representing a range of leading edge business, career, and leadership development activities. This year’s national theme, “Ticket to Your Future”, reflects the goals of FBLA-PBL members, some of the best and brightest of today’s young people.

Advisers Laura McCloud and Audella Clark accompanied students to competition.
